Battle of the Books
Battle of the Books at Tara Oaks
4th and 5th grade students at Tara Oaks will have the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities and test their knowledge of the books they have read. The competition will be similar in style to the TV series Family Feud. The competition will take place in the Spring, time and place TBA. The students will be encouraged to read at least 10 of the books that have been nominated for the Volunteer State Book Award for 2019-2020. Book club will meet throughout the year on Monday mornings. to prepare for the Spring competition. The five Collierville Elementary schools will be involved in the competition.
