Learning objectives for the 4th nine weeks grading period:
-I can express my thoughts, ideas and feelings.
-I can participate in conversations with diverse partners about 'k' topics.
-I can actively engage in group reading activities with purpose and understanding.
-I can persevere in solving addition and subtraction story problems (with sums/remainders to 10).
-I can determine the missing addend to make 10.
-I can fluently add and subtract to 5.
-I can count to 100 and count forward beginning with any given number.
-I can skip count by 2's to 20.
-I can identify a quarter, dime, nickel and penny.
Language Arts objectives:
-I can correctly form, write the letter for each sound and identify the sound of all of the alphabet.
-I can identify the plot, setting and character(s) in a story.
-I can use letter/sound matches to decode a simple word.
-I can add or substitute sounds to make new words.
-I can understand question words.
-I can write and draw to tell a story.
-I can recognize sentence structure (ex. capital letter at the beginning of a sentence, space between words, end mark).
-I can write CVC (consonant/vowel/consonant) words.
-I can use inflections and affixes.
-I can read and use sight words in my reading/writing-will, no, so, his, her, be, what, said, was, this, up, but, where, come, does, out, get, day, may, play, love
