About Me

Hi! Here's a little about me! I have been teaching for 15 years and this is my 11th year at Tara Oaks. I have taught 3rd grade  for 5 years and 2nd grade for the other years. I have a Master's degree in Elementary Education.

I've been married for 32 years and we have 3 children. Hannah is an OT and lives in Little Rock. She is engaged to Jake and they will be married in November. Haley is a registered nurse and got married in January of 2019. She and her husband, John Mark live in Mississippi.  Hudson, our youngest, is about to be a sophomore at Mississippi State University. We have an inside dog, Helen, who is a rescue and two cats that stay outside.

In my free time, I love to spend time with my family. So these days, that means traveling to Arkansas or Mississippi!

It is such a gift to have the opportunity to spend each day with your children and I am so grateful! I believe that being a teacher is truly a calling and I feel so blessed to do it!
