Hello, Tara O Tigers! I am thrilled to be one half of the spectacular Tara Oaks Art Department, alongside the fabulous Miss McCollum!

Collierville is my hometown. Growing up I attended Collierville schools for elementary, middle, and high school. I love The Ville! I have a BFA in Art/Art Education from the University of Memphis. Go Tigers! I love traveling to experience art and culture around the world, spending time with my family, going to concerts, and cheering on my Tigers. My favorite thing is inspiring young artists in and out of the art room!

 

I am so excited to have the opportunity to teach the Tigers of Tara O! It is my aim for the art room to be a safe and nurturing environment where students can learn, grow, and create. I have affectionately dubbed the art room @TigerTOESart. Look for us on both Instagram and Twitter. We will be sharing photos, videos, announcements, etc. about our artwork throughout the school year. You won't want to miss it!
