WHAT WE ARE DOING IN CLASS
Every week I make a folder in Schoology that provides our daily lessons, activities, PowerPoints, Study Guides, Newsletters, and Challenge Work. You can log in to Schoology from your child's iPad to see what we did every day as well as study for the grammar and vocabulary tests each Friday. I provide study guides and quizzes the students can do to help them prepare for the test.
If your child is ever absent, they can log in to Schoology and see what we did for the day. I am attaching the guide so that you know how to access Schoology from your child's iPad. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Hello Game Changers! This week we will be learning about common and proper nouns as well as abstract and concrete nouns. We will have a new set of vocabulary words that we will be using in our daily readings. Our genre for the week is folktales. As we read our stories for the week, we will be looking for the Theme.
I have created a quizizz for the students to play that will help them study for the vocab and grammar test. I will allow them to play this during class but it is good practice at home as well. I have copied the link in their study guide folder on Schoology but I am pasting it below as well.
Purple graded folders came home today. Look at the papers and sign the folder and return tomorrow.
I have attached the lunch menu for the month of October.
