Mrs. Jones began her career in education with Legacy Memphis City Schools, where she served as both a special education teacher and later a general education teacher across multiple elementary grade levels. After 17 years with Legacy MCS, she joined Collierville Schools in 2016 as a special education math co‑teacher at Schilling Farms Middle School, now West Collierville Middle School. Since becoming part of the Collierville Schools family, Mrs. Jones has supported students in a variety of roles, including teaching standard and advanced mathematics and serving as Math Interventionist for grades 6–8.
 
In addition to her classroom experience, Mrs. Jones has demonstrated a strong commitment to school-wide success through leadership and collaboration. She has served as Math Department Chairperson, 8th Grade Math Curriculum Facilitator, and as a member of both the SRTI and Leadership Teams. Her dedication to students and colleagues was recognized when she was named 2025 West Collierville Middle School Teacher of the Year and 2025 Collierville Schools Middle School Teacher of the Year.
 
Mrs. Jones holds a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Union University, and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Austin Peay State University. She and her husband live in Oakland, Tennessee, and are proud parents of three adult children and grandparents to two grandchildren.
