Robotics Team
The Tigerbots is a Vex IQ competitive team for 3rd - 5th grade students. The club is currently filled. Applications come out in the late Spring for the following year, as the team begins practicing during the summer to prepare for Fall competitions. This club meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings, as well as Monday afternoons. These days include normal practices only.

Who We Are
The Tara Oaks Tigerbots team is made up of several teams
of hard-working and ambitious 4th & 5th grade students who
attend Tara Oaks Elementary School in Collierville, TN. The Tigerbots
are in their third year as a competitive team. Last year, they made their
debut at the VEX IQ Worlds Competition and are eager to qualify again
this year. They work hard to design, build, modify, drive, and program
robots. In addition, they complete a STEM Research project and
meticulously note all of their designs, success, and failures in an
engineering notebook.
